Early Years Academy in Oxford is seeking an experienced Nursery Deputy Manager to lead daily operations at our Headington nursery. You will support the Nursery Manager, inspire a team of early years practitioners and ensure high standards of care and EYFS delivery.

The ideal candidate has a Level 3 Early Years qualification, nursery leadership experience and a proven ability to manage safeguarding, staff rotas and Ofsted readiness. Salary around £34,000, negotiable by experience.

Qualifications

• Full and relevant Level 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare.
• Previous nursery leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of EYFS and safeguarding.
• Excellent leadership, communication and organisation.
• Experience with Ofsted inspections or management qualifications is advantageous.
• Ability to support nursery operations and staff ratios.

Responsabilités

• Support the Nursery Manager with day-to-day leadership.
• Lead and motivate a team of early years practitioners.
• Ensure high standards of care and EYFS education.
• Maintain safeguarding and health and safety standards.
• Assist with staff recruitment, induction and development.
• Take responsibility for the nursery in the Manager's absence.
