Job summary

Walsingham Support is seeking a Deputy Manager on a three-month secondment, to work across two busy services and report to the Registered Manager. This hands-on role develops leadership within care teams and ensures high-quality, person-centred support across sites.

You will split your 37.5 hour week between Crummock Road and Beech Avenue, with a pattern that typically runs 8:30am–4:30pm or 9:00am–5:00pm, and you will participate in the management on-call rota, taking on-call and sleep-in cover

Qualifications

• Must be organised and reliable.
• Ability to lead and support staff across two services.
• Full UK manual driving licence is essential.

Responsibilities

• Work across Crummock Road and Beech Avenue to support two services.
• Assist Registered Manager with day-to-day service management.
• Provide leadership, guidance and support to care staff.
• Promote high-quality, person-centred support and independence for people supported.
• Participate in management on-call rota and provide on-call or sleep-in cover when required.
