Job summary

West Sussex Mind is seeking an experienced Deputy Service Manager to lead our out of hours crisis drop-in in Worthing, at Methold House, North Street. This permanent, part-time role is 32 hours per week, including some weekend work, with line management duties and administrative responsibilities.

You will supervise a small team of Mental Health and Peer Support Workers alongside NHS Mental Health Practitioners, ensuring a high-quality, inclusive service 365 days a year. DBS check required.

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams delivering mental health out-of-hours support.
• Experience supervising staff and coordinating shift patterns.
• Commitment to equality and inclusive practice.
• Eligibility to work in the UK and DBS clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day delivery of the crisis drop-in service.
• Supervise Mental Health and Peer Support Workers and NHS Practitioners.
• Coordinate 32-hour weekly pattern including some weekends.
• Oversee administrative tasks related to the role.
