Joining Careers Education in Selby is seeking a Deputy Manager for a settled residential care home. You will lead a team, support safeguarding and care planning, and work with a caring Registered Manager.

This full-time role offers a 40-hour week, a salary of £37,668 per year plus sleep-ins at £80 per night, and a commitment to ongoing training and progression within a supportive Group.

Formación

• Experience in Residential Childcare is essential.
• Studying towards Level 4/5 Diploma in Residential Care.
• Own transport due to location

Responsabilidades

• Day-to-day running of the home alongside the Registered Manager.
• Lead, motivate and support the team to deliver safe, therapeutic care.
• Coach staff through supervision and feedback.
• Support care planning, assess and contribute to personalised plans.
• Ensure safeguarding and compliance with policies and procedures.
• Drive quality, complete audits and assist inspections (Ofsted).
• Manage rotas and staffing levels for safe care.
• Work directly with children and provide positive role modelling.
• Foster a loving, nurturing home environment for children to thrive.
