Qualifications

• Experience in residential childcare settings.
• Studying towards Level 4/5 Diploma in Residential Care.
• Strong leadership and mentoring skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day running of the home with the Registered Manager.
• Lead, motivate and support the team to deliver safe, consistent, and therapeutic care.
• Act as role model for trauma-informed practice and build strong relationships with young people.
• Support care planning, assessments, reviews and personalised care plans.
• Ensure safeguarding policies, risk assessments and procedures are followed.
• Drive quality, audits and inspections (e.g. Ofsted) and support development through supervision.
