Job summary

Choice Care is recruiting a Deputy Manager to work with the Home Manager in our Ocknell Park residential home in the New Forest. You will develop and monitor individual care plans, supervise staff, manage admin, and ensure compliance with codes of practice and legislation.

You should have supervisory experience in Adult Social Care, a professional, well organised approach, and the ability to prioritise tasks.

Qualifications

• Extensive supervisory experience in Adult Social Care.
• Professional approach with ability to organise and prioritise.
• Good knowledge of relevant codes of practice and legislation.

Responsibilities

• Identify residents' needs and take appropriate action with management input.
• Coordinate and lead the staffing team under Home Manager guidance.
• Conduct inductions and staff supervisions.
• Run regular team meetings and delegate tasks.
• Plan and manage rotas to ensure staffing levels.
• Support Home Manager with investigations, disciplinaries and grievances.
• Collaborate with other departments and homes within Choice Care.
• Conduct risk assessments for staff and residents.
