Job summary

Choice Care is seeking a Deputy Manager to support the Home Manager in a residential care home. You will develop and monitor individual care plans, supervise staff, and ensure compliance with codes of practice and legislation.

You will require supervisory experience in Adult Social Care, a professional approach, and the ability to organise and prioritise in a busy home environment. The role involves collaboration across departments within Choice Care.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of Codes of Practice and relevant legislation.
• Supervisory experience in Adult Social Care.
• Ability to organize and prioritise and work professionally.

Responsibilities

• Identifying residents' emotional, physical, psychological, social and spiritual needs and acts on them with the team.
• Coordinating and leading the staffing team under the Home Manager.
• Conducting inductions and supervisions for staff.
• Holding regular team meetings and delegating responsibilities.
• Managing staffing rotas and absence impacts with the Home Manager.
• Ensuring staff training is up to date and compliant.
