Job summary

Choice Care's EL Marsh Care home is looking for a motivated Deputy Manager to lead daily operations, oversee care plan development, and ensure compliance with codes of practice and legislation.

You will supervise staff, manage inductions and supervisions, coordinate the rota, participate in investigations when needed, and work with other departments to maintain a caring, safe, and compliant environment for residents.

Qualifications

• Extensive supervisory experience in Adult Social Care and a professional approach to organisation and prioritisation.
• Strong knowledge of codes of practice and relevant legislation.
• Ability to develop, implement and monitor individual care plans.

Responsibilities

• Identify residents' needs and coordinate actions with the management team.
• Lead staffing team and supervise performers under the Home Manager.
• Conduct inductions and staff supervisions; run regular team meetings.
• Plan and manage rotas to maintain appropriate staffing levels.
• Support investigations, disciplinaries and grievances when required.
• Collaborate with other departments and homes within the Company.
• Conduct risk assessments for staff and residents.
