Job summary
Catholic Care (Diocese of Leeds) is seeking a Deputy Manager to provide visible leadership across West and North Yorkshire, supporting adults with learning disabilities and complex needs.
You will work alongside the Registered Manager, coach staff, ensure safe, person-centred support, maintain up-to-date records, and use feedback to improve people’s experiences.
The role involves participation in on-call rotas and flexible working to meet service needs.
Qualifications
- NVQ Level 3 in Care or equivalent.
- Experience supervising staff in care settings.
- Understanding safeguarding and CQC standards.
- Ability to lead, coach and support teams.
- Full driving licence and travel between services.
Responsibilities
- Provide visible leadership alongside the Registered Manager.
- Coach staff, supervise and set clear expectations.
- Ensure safe, person-centred support and up-to-date records.
- Use feedback and audits to drive improvements.
