Job summary

CS UK Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Deputy Home Manager for a residential service near Dewsbury, West Yorkshire. The role leads staff, coordinates care, and ensures compliance with regulatory standards in a demanding care setting.

The Deputy Manager will run regular staff meetings, oversee risk assessments, and induct new staff while maintaining a high standard of resident care and family engagement. Permanent, full-time role with a UK driving license preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in learning disability and autism settings.
• Experience in a similar residential care environment.
• Passionate about high-quality care and good engagement with residents and families.

Responsibilities

• Holds regular staff meetings to maintain good communication and engage with commissioners and referrers.
• Ensures risk assessments (clinical risk, COSHH, Legionella, Moving & Handling, etc.) are carried out timely and thoroughly.
• Inducts and orients new staff and arranges statutory and other training for seamless team integration.
