Key Talent Solutions seeks an experienced Deputy Manager to support a children’s residential home leadership. You will lead staff daily, ensure safe, child-centred care and help maintain high standards while supporting Ofsted compliance.

You’ll deputise for the Registered Manager, mentor Team Leaders and supervise staff, handling supervisions, recruitment, rotas and training to drive positive outcomes for children and young people.

Formación

• Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent.
• Experience within children’s residential care.
• Strong leadership, mentoring and supervisory skills.
• Good understanding of safeguarding and Ofsted expectations.
• Ability to remain calm, resilient and professional under pressure.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Genuine commitment to improving outcomes for children and young people.
• Previous Team Leader or Deputy Manager experience.
• Experience supervising or mentoring staff.
• Experience in a regulated residential care environment.
• Experience supporting children with complex needs or behaviours that challenge.
• Budgeting or operational management experience.
• Full UK driving licence.

We are looking for an experienced Deputy Manager to support the leadership of a children’s residential home.

This role would suit a residential childcare professional who can work closely with the Registered Manager, lead staff day to day and help deliver safe, consistent and child-centred care for children and young people.

You will help maintain high standards across the home, support Ofsted compliance and promote a positive safeguarding culture.

The role will involve:
