Job summary

Radiantcarehomes is seeking a motivated Deputy Manager to support the Registered Manager in the daily running of our children’s residential home. You’ll help lead the team, ensure compliance, and directly support the children to thrive emotionally and socially.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a senior support worker ready to take the next step or an experienced deputy looking for a new challenge.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent is required.
• Level 5 Diploma is preferred or willingness to work towards it.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a children’s residential setting.
• Strong safeguarding knowledge and understanding of child development.

Responsibilities

• Support the Registered Manager with compliance, supervision, and staff development.
• Lead shifts and ensure effective daily operations.
• Support development and implementation of care plans and risk assessments.
• Act as a positive role model for staff and young people.
