Job summary

Keys Group is opening a new 2-bed residential home in Grimsby for children and young people with emotional and behavioural needs. The Deputy Manager will join a regional leadership team, supported to develop into future leaders and gain Level 5 qualifications.

You’ll influence the care approach, contribute to the safeguarding framework, and help drive a person-centred, therapeutic model of care across the service.

Qualifications

  • 2 years' experience in a Residential Children's home at Senior or Deputy level.
  • NVQ Level 3 or 4 in Children and Young People.
  • Knowledge of Ofsted regulations and safeguarding procedures.
  • Experience with budgets and rotas.
  • Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Home Manager in leading the residential team.
  • Contribute to safeguarding and welfare of children and young people.
  • Participate in supervision and appraisals.
  • Oversee rotas and budget management as required.
  • Promote a therapeutic model of care and continuous service improvement.

We have a new 2 bed mixed gender home opening in Grimsby for children and young people who have emotional and behavioural difficulties and are looking for a qualified Childrens home Deputy manager to join our expanding team. As a Deputy Manager, you will be an integral part of our welcoming and knowledgeable leadership team, being part of a region of children's homes, with the backing of a growing, national organisation, where you will be actively encouraged to be creative and bring your own unique skills and have the opportunity to influence change. You will be supported to gain level 5 qualifications, to grow and develop into future leaders and to take on additional responsibilities which will give you the confidence to step up to manage the home when needed. As a member of the region's leadership team, you'll play an active role in shaping and evolving this approach.   • 2 years' experience working within a Residential Children's home either as a Senior or at Deputy level.
  • NVQ Level 3 or 4 in Children and Young People
