Job summary

Keys Group is seeking a Deputy Manager for our Children and Young People service in Crawley. You will lead a small team, support 3 vulnerable young people and implement a warm, therapeutic environment. The role involves regional leadership and developing a culture that helps young people thrive.

You will have access to Level 5 qualifications and opportunities to progress to Registered Manager. The role requires a full UK driving licence, a 39-hour week with a mix of long days and admin, and

Qualifications

  • 2 years’ experience working within a Residential Children’s home or equivalent.
  • NVQ Level 3 or 4 in Children and Young People.
  • Knowledge of Ofsted regulations and safeguarding procedures.
  • Experience with budgets and rotas.

Salary: From £35,308 rising to £37,605 per annum plus additional sleep in payments

Full UK driving license and access to own vehicle are essential in this role.

Hours: 39 hours working a mix of long days and admin days plus occasional sleep in

You will be supported to gain level 5 qualifications, to grow and develop into future leaders and to take on additional responsibilities which will give you the confidence to step up to manage the home when needed.

Requirements
  • 2 years’ experience working within a Residential Children’s home either as a Senior or at Deputy level.
  • NVQ Level 3 or 4 in Children and Young People
  • Knowledge of Ofsted regulations and safeguarding procedures.
  • Experience with budgets and rotas
  • A full UK driving licence
