Job summary

Sanctuary Care is seeking a Deputy Manager for Fernihurst Nursing Home, Exmouth, Devon. The role is 40 hours per week with a salary of £49,878.40 per annum, offering a path to lead a caring team and deliver high-quality care within a supportive, inclusive environment.

You will work with the Home Manager to guide staff, build relationships with residents and families, and foster a culture of kindness, learning, and professional development.

Qualifications

• Clinical experience in a nursing setting.
• Valid NMC PIN.
• Supportive leadership style that brings out the best in others.
• Warm, approachable and able to build strong relationships.
• Confidence working as part of a team in a busy care environment.
• Full driving licence, with access to a vehicle desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support the Home Manager with the day-to-day running of the home.
• Lead and guide colleagues to deliver personalised, high-quality care.
• Build trusted relationships with residents, families and colleagues.
• Take an active role in social and leisure activities that enrich daily life.
• Help shape a kind, positive and supportive culture across the home.
