Job summary

SeeMeHired is seeking a Deputy Locality Manager to lead day-to-day operations of supported living services in the UK. You will ensure high-quality, person-centred care and supervise a team of caregivers, coordinating with healthcare professionals as needed.

You will develop and implement tailored care plans, monitor outcomes, and maintain records while complying with safeguarding and CQC guidelines. A senior/deputy background in learning disabilities is essential.

Qualifications

• Senior or deputy role experience with adults with learning disabilities.
• Strong knowledge of Mental Capacity Act and Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DoLS).
• Flexible to meet service needs, including on-call rota.

Job description

As a Deputy Locality Manager, you will play a vital role in the day-to-day management of the services, ensuring that the individuals we support receive a personalised service tailored to their changing needs. You will be instrumental in maintaining quality and compliance across the services, supervising and supporting staff, and acting as the point of contact in the absence of the Locality Manager.,

• Oversee and manage the operations of supported living services.
• Ensure the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care.
• Develop and implement care plans tailored to individual needs.
• Supervise, mentor, and train a team of dedicated caregivers.
• Coordinate with healthcare professionals to meet medical and care requirements.
• Monitor, evaluate, and adjust care plans as needed to ensure effectiveness.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and documentation.
• Respond to concerns promptly, following company policies, safeguarding protocols, and CQC guidelines.
  Experience: Previous experience in a senior or deputy role working with adults with learning disabilities.
• Qualifications:
• + NVQ Level 4 or above, OR + QCF Level 5 in Management (or willingness to work towards it).
• Skills: Excellent written, verbal, and IT skills with the ability to prioritise, plan, and organise effectively.
• Knowledge: Strong understanding of the Mental Capacity Act and Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards, with practical application experience.
• Flexibility: Fully flexible to meet the needs of the services you oversee, including participation in an on-call rota., Previous experience in a senior or deputy role working with adults with learning disabilities.
