Job summary

Maria Mallaband Care Group is seeking an experienced Deputy Manager for The Devonshire Care Home in Reading. You will report to the Registered Manager and ensure high standards of care in line with MMCG policies and regulatory requirements.

The role involves the efficient day-to-day operation of the home, delivering personalised services and managing staff while building strong relationships with external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working as a deputy manager in a Care Home environment is desirable but not essential.
• A committed and organised approach.
• An excellent communicator with experience in leading and motivating staff.
• A good understanding of Regulatory Compliance and the ability to demonstrate delivery of a quality service

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Deputy Manager to join the team at The Devonshire Care Home.

The Deputy Manager will report to the Registered Manager and is responsible for delivering high standards of care inaccordance with MMCG policies and procedures and all external regulatory requirements.

This includes the efficient and effective day to day running of the Home,developing exceptional personalised service for every service user and their loved ones, managementof all staff and developing positive working relations with external stakeholders. This is a fundamental role within Social Care.

We are only able to accept applicants who have the right to work in the uk and live within a commutable distance to the location of the job role.
