Job summary

Agincare invites applications for a Deputy Manager role based from our Supported Living services in Bourne, with travel to our Grantham office. You will lead a team delivering high-quality care for individuals with Learning Disabilities, Autism, Mental Health and complex needs.

You will work closely with the Registered Manager to ensure safe, responsive and well-led service delivery. You’ll drive audits, person-centred care planning, safeguarding, and effective record-keeping, while developing

Qualifications

• 12 months right to work
• Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle
• Experience leading and engaging a team of support workers
• Knowledge of CQC key lines of enquiry and regulatory frameworks
• Level 3 Health & Social Care (or equivalent) desirable

Responsibilities

• Induction of new team members and supervision of existing staff
• Conduct care audits and ensure person-centered care plans focusing on dignity and individuality
• Liaising with family, social workers and clients to ensure holistic care
• Monitor, report and investigate safeguarding risks and incidents
• Maintain up-to-date administrative records such as care notes and medication charts

Come and join the Agincare family as a Deputy Manager based from our Supported Living services in Bourne, with travel to our office in Grantham. In this area you will be supporting your team to deliver outstanding care and support to individuals with Learning Disabilities, Autism, Mental Health and complex needs.

What is required from you?

• A minimum of 12 months on your right to work
• A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
• Knowledgeable of the care sector - preferably within a supported living setting
• Good knowledge of the CQC key lines of enquiry and other regulatory frameworks.
• Level 3 or above in Health & Social Care (or equivalent) is desirable
• Prior experience leading and engaging a team of support workers.

A day in the life of a Deputy Manager

You will support the Registered Manager, and work closely together to provide consistent operational management, leadership, and oversight. Together you will ensure a safe, caring, responsive, effective, and well-led service to our clients and staff to ensure a high delivery of care.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

• Induction of new team members and supervision and support to existing team members
• The completion of care audits to ensure good practice and trigger reviews in care provision for clients as needs change. Your care plans would be person-centred, with focus on dignity and individuality
• Liaising with family members, care professionals, social workers and the clients themselves to ensure a holistic and transparent care provision.
• Monitor, report and investigate risks and events of safeguarding concern or harm and ensure processes are in place to mitigate and/or avoid these risks
• Ensuring administrative records such as daily care notes, medication charts and meeting notes are up to date.
