Tudor Employment Agency Ltd is seeking a Deputy Manager for a 1-bedded Residential Children’s Home. You will support day-to-day operations, lead the team, and ensure regulatory compliance and safeguarding standards are met.

The role requires Level 5 Diploma, 2 years supervisory experience, enhanced DBS, and a full UK driving licence. Salary starts at £33,300.80 per year, with a pay rise after a 6-month probation.

Responsabilidades

• Supporting the Registered Manager with daily operations and staff supervision.
• Leading and motivating staff to deliver person-centred care.
• Ensuring compliance with Children’s Homes Regulations 2015 and safeguarding standards.
• Managing placement plans, risk assessments, and positive handling plans.
• Ensuring safeguarding procedures are followed and incidents reported within 24 hours.
• Participating in on-call rota and mandatory training.
• Leading safeguarding and child protection concerns.
• Making referrals to statutory agencies when required.

Tudor Employment Agency are recruiting a

Deputy Manager to support the dayâ€‑toâ€‑day running of a

1â€‑bedded Residential Children’s Home. You’ll help lead the team, support young people, and ensure the home remains fully compliant with regulations and safeguarding standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Supporting the Registered Manager with daily operations and staff supervision
• Leading and motivating staff to deliver personâ€‑centred care
• Ensuring compliance with Children’s Homes Regulations 2015, Quality Standards & SCCIF
• Managing placement plans, risk assessments & positive handling plans
• Ensuring safeguarding procedures are followed and reporting significant incidents within 24 hours
• Participating in the onâ€‑call rota and completing mandatory training
• Leading on all safeguarding and child protection concerns
• Making referrals to statutory agencies when required
• Ensuring staff understand safeguarding procedures and best practice
• Staying updated on FGM, CSE, County Lines & Radicalisation
• Pay increase after a successful 6â€‑month probation

Subject to the nature of onsite emergencies, you may be required to attend the home to support if it cannot be resolved over the telephone.

• Full UK driving licence essential
• Part of the management on‑call rota (every 5 weeks)

Requirements

• Working towards/completed Level 5 Diploma
• Minimum 2 years’ supervisory experience
• Enhanced DBS, Right to Work in the UK & clean driving licence
• Strong communication and leadership skills
