Job summary

The Seafood Pub Company is seeking a Deputy General Manager for the Hesketh Arms in Rufford. You will join us for the post-refurbishment opening and can start from 26 October 2026 for a 2-week training period, with earlier training at sister sites possible.

We offer up to £38,000 per year including service charge, a profit share, flexible shifts, enhanced holidays, and generous staff benefits. We are a group of six premium pubs with rooms, focused on progression and true hospitality.

Qualifications

• Strong management and leadership experience in a service environment.
• Proven ability to lead and develop hospitality teams for excellent customer service.
• Organised and capable of multitasking in a busy pub setting.

Responsibilities

• Aid the General Manager in leading and developing the team to deliver top hospitality.
• Help drive guest satisfaction and service standards across shifts.
• Support training programmes and ongoing staff development.

We are looking for a Deputy General Manager to join our team at the Hesketh Arms in Rufford!

This role is for our opening post-refurbishment and the candidate must be available to start from 26th October 2026 for our 2-week training period pre-opening. An earlier start can be accommodated working at one of our sister sites for training.
