Job summary

Midway Care Group is seeking a Locality Manager to oversee our supported living service in Wolverhampton, delivering high-quality person-centred care to adults with learning disabilities, mental health needs, and associated challenges. You will provide strategic leadership, ensure compliance with CQC standards, recruit and develop the team, and take on Registered Manager responsibilities.

A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership in Health & Social Care and a valid driver’s license are required; travel

Qualifications

• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership in Health & Social Care (or equivalent).
• Proven experience managing supported living services or similar settings.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and day-to-day management for the supported living service.
• Ensure services meet and exceed CQC standards and regulatory requirements.
• Develop and maintain person-centred care plans that promote independence and choice.
• Recruit, train, and develop a passionate team to deliver exceptional care.
• Build positive relationships with service users, families, and key stakeholders.
• Take on the responsibility of Registered Manager for the service.
• Safeguarding protocols and relevant legislation are adhered to.
• Drive continuous improvement and address service shortfalls proactively.
• Respond to new referrals and ensure occupancy targets are met.
• Monitor staff performance, provide supervision, and support professional development.
• Foster a culture of excellence and innovation within the service.
