Kew Green Hotels is seeking a driven Deputy Kitchen Manager to support the delivery of a high-quality, efficient kitchen operation. Working with the Kitchen Manager, you will lead the team, uphold brand standards and contribute to guest satisfaction.

You will support daily kitchen leadership, ensure food safety and team performance, and collaborate on menu planning, stock control and training. This role offers development through funded apprenticeships and wellbeing benefits.

Qualificações

• Experience at Sous Chef or strong Chef de Partie level.
• Good understanding of kitchen operations, food safety and compliance standards.
• Strong leadership potential with the ability to motivate others.
• Proactive hands-on approach and willingness to step up when needed.
• Commercial awareness with cost control and waste reduction.
• Ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Desire to progress your career.

Responsabilidades

• Step into a leadership role in the absence of the Kitchen Manager, ensuring smooth operations.
• Ensure all food is prepared, presented and served to brand standards and food safety requirements.
• Work with the Kitchen Manager on menu planning and implementation to drive quality and guest appeal.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organisation and compliance across the kitchen.
• Support stocktakes, ordering and stock control to minimise waste and support profitability.
• Contribute ideas to improve kitchen performance and guest experience.
• Ensure health, safety, hygiene and food safety standards are consistently met.
• Train, motivate and supervise team members to deliver service excellence.
