Job summary

Kew Green Hotels is seeking a driven Deputy Kitchen Manager to support a high-quality, efficient kitchen operation and lead the team under the Kitchen Manager’s guidance. You will uphold brand standards, ensure food safety and quality, manage stock, and contribute to menu planning to enhance guest appeal.

Qualifications

• Aspiring kitchen leader with passion for food and performance.
• Experience at Sous Chef or strong Chef de Partie level.
• Good understanding of kitchen operations, food safety and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day kitchen operations in absence of the Kitchen Manager.
• Ensure dishes meet brand standards and safety requirements.
• Assist in menu planning and rollout to improve guest appeal.
• Maintain cleanliness, organisation and regulatory compliance.
• Support stocktakes, ordering and stock control to reduce waste.
• Contribute ideas to improve kitchen performance and guest experience.
• Ensure health and safety, hygiene standards are consistently met.
• Train, motivate and supervise team members to deliver service excellence.
