Qualifications

• Minimum Level 3 or 4 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent).
• Proven experience as a Deputy Home Manager or in a similar senior care role.
• Excellent knowledge of CQC regulations and safeguarding practices.
• Experience working with elderly client group.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the Home Manager in the operational leadership of the care home
• Ensure full compliance with CQC standards and safeguarding protocols
• Lead and mentor care staff, supporting supervision and professional development
• Establish and action referral pathways for safeguarding adults and concerns of abuse
• Participate in recruitment, staff training, and performance reviews
• Foster strong relationships with residents, families, and health & social care professionals
