Job summary

HC-One is seeking a Deputy Home Manager to ensure the delivery of compassionate, person-centred care within our dementia, nursing, residential and specialist care homes. You will support the Home Manager, mentor staff, maintain accurate records and uphold safeguarding standards across the home.

With a focus on kindness and professional excellence, you will lead by example, coordinate care delivery, and participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities offered by HC-One.

Qualifications

• NMC Pin required
• Knowledge of National Standards and the NMC code of practice
• Background in person-centred care planning within a care home
• Mentoring and coaching colleagues
• Time management and accurate record keeping

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist nursing support and advice to residents
• Take responsibility for resident care in the Home Manager's absence
• Supervise and coach staff to deliver compassionate, high-quality care
• Ensure safeguarding training is completed and know how to escalate concerns
• Contribute to care planning and quality improvement activities
