Job summary

HC-One is seeking a Deputy Home Manager to uphold excellent nursing care within our dementia, residential and specialist homes. You will support the Home Manager, provide specialist nursing guidance and supervise colleagues to deliver empathetic, person-centred care that respects each resident’s dignity.

You’ll hold a valid NMC PIN, be familiar with National Standards and the NMC code of practice, and you’ll champion safeguarding and ongoing professional development across the team.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid NMC PIN.
• Knowledge of National Standards and the NMC Code of Practice.
• Background in person-centred care planning within a care home.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist nursing support and advice.
• Take responsibility for resident care in the Home Manager’s absence.
• Supervise and coach colleagues to deliver empathetic, resident-centred care.
