Teaching Vacancies is listing a Deputy Headteacher/SENDCo role at New Milton Infant School, January 2027. The post combines strategic leadership with direct teaching responsibilities, championing inclusion and SEND across the school, and serving on the Senior Leadership Team.

The successful candidate will drive improvement, work with families and external agencies, and model exemplary classroom practice while ensuring safeguarding and high expectations for all children.

Qualifications

• Ambitious, inspirational leadership with a focus on inclusion and improving outcomes.
• Ability to lead SEND and inclusion across the school.
• Experience inspiring and supporting colleagues and building relationships with families.

Responsibilities

• Be a member of the Senior Leadership Team and lead teaching, learning and assessment.
• Lead inclusion and SEND provision across the school and act as SENDCo.
• Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead responsibilities.
• Lead provision for SEND, disadvantaged and vulnerable pupils and monitor progress.
• Collaborate with families and external agencies to drive school improvement.
• Teach a class and model high-quality classroom practice.
