Overview

We are looking to appoint a Deputy Headteacher on a full-time basis, who is committed and talented to join our team as soon as possible (preferably January or even after February half term 2026) for one term in the first instance although this may extend to two terms. The role would be two days based in the classroom and the remaining three days supporting and driving school improvement across the school with the Headteacher.

This is a unique opportunity to play a key leadership role during an important phase of growth and improvement. As part of this new chapter, we are looking for a Deputy Headteacher who can inspire, support and challenge a dedicated team of professionals who care deeply about the pupils and community.

Arden Forest Infant School is seeking a full-time Deputy Headteacher to join our team. With a salary of Leadership 5, this role offers the chance to support our school through a period of change and contribute to raising standards and supporting behaviour.

Arden Forest is a two-form entry infant school, located on the outskirts of the large rural village of Bulkington. It is a mixed, lively community with its own shops, library and village centre. The school attracts children from within the local community, but also wider community, including Bedworth, the local army barracks (Bramcote) and traveller communities.
