OFG Education is seeking a Deputy Headteacher for Hillingdon Manor School in Uxbridge. The role offers strategic leadership across teaching, learning and curriculum, with accountability for school improvement and performance data.

You will work with the Headteacher to drive attainment, safeguarding and continuous professional development, including coaching staff and ensuring compliance with Independent School Standards. Start January 2027, permanent, 38.5 hours/week.

Qualifications

• QTS or QTLS with NPQH preferred
• Degree-level qualification required
• Minimum of three years' senior leadership experience
• Experience improving teaching, learning and curriculum provision
• Knowledge of autism and adaptive approaches to learning is beneficial
• Strong understanding of Independent School Standards and inspection requirements
• Commitment to safeguarding and best practices in school leadership
• Ability to lead, coach and develop staff across the school

Responsabilités

• Provide strategic leadership for student attainment and engagement.
• Lead whole-school improvement initiatives in teaching, learning and curriculum.
• Oversee curriculum pathways including accredited qualifications (AQA, ASDAN).
• Lead QA, self-evaluation and improvement planning processes.
• Monitor and analyse educational performance data to drive decisions.
• Hold leaders accountable for standards and quality of provision.
• Contribute to the School Development Plan and Self-Evaluation Framework.
• Ensure compliance with Independent School Standards and inspection readiness.
• Lead staff development through performance management and coaching.
• Promote safeguarding, student welfare and professional accountability.
• Deputise for the Headteacher when required.
