OFG Education is seeking a Deputy Headteacher for Hillingdon Manor School in Uxbridge. You will lead teaching, learning and curriculum, drive improvements using assessment and performance data, and shape the strategic direction in collaboration with the Headteacher.

You will coach staff, lead quality assurance, ensure safeguarding compliance and contribute to school development plans, with responsibility for professional development and performance management across the school.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills Status (QTLS).
• A degree-level qualification.
• NPQH, or a commitment to completing the qualification.
• A minimum of three years' successful experience in a senior leadership position.
• Significant experience of leading and improving teaching, learning and curriculum provision.
• Knowledge of safeguarding legislation, policy and best practice.

Responsabilités

• Providing strategic leadership for student attainment, progress, engagement and achievement.
• Leading whole-school improvement initiatives relating to teaching, learning and curriculum development.
• Overseeing curriculum pathways, including AQA and ASDAN accreditation.
• Leading the school's quality assurance, self-evaluation and improvement planning processes.
• Monitoring and analysing educational performance data to drive informed decision-making and school improvement.
• Holding leaders accountable for standards, outcomes and the quality of provision.
• Contributing to the School Development Plan and Self-Evaluation Framework.
• Ensuring compliance with Independent School Standards and supporting inspection preparation.
• Leading and developing staff through performance management, coaching and professional development.
• Promoting a strong culture of safeguarding, student welfare and professional accountability.
• Deputising for the Headteacher when required and providing visible leadership across the school.
