Job Title: Deputy Headteacher
Location: The Holden School, Leigh WN7 4SB
Salary: Up to £55,700.00 per annum depending on experience
Hours: 37.5 hours per week; Monday to Friday
Contract: Permanent, Term Time Only (plus occasional days as necessary)

As part of our continued growth, we now have a fantastic opportunity for a Deputy Headteacher to join our close-knit team at The Holden School, part of Acorn Education.
About the role
The Deputy Headteacher will provide effective leadership and management of the school that ensures the school meets its aims and objectives and operates within the overall strategy and guidelines. Key objectives of the role include achieving outstanding outcomes for Children and Young People that reflect their needs, abilities, and aptitudes, and maintaining a safe environment that protects their welfare and that of staff.
Effective strategic and operational planning, including self-evaluation, school improvement, and delivery with a shared vision, aligning with the overall organisation strategy, inspiring and motivating students, staff, and the school community.
Meeting all statutory requirements as defined by the DfE, Ofsted, and other external bodies, and achieving the highest inspection ratings. Leading a motivated staff group committed to excellence and ongoing professional development, and ensuring the commercial success of the school through occupancy, cost management, and growth plans.
