Foxbridge Primary School is seeking an ambitious and inspirational Deputy Headteacher to join our dedicated team. This is an exciting opportunity for an excellent teacher and emerging or experienced leader who wants to make a real difference, grow alongside a developing school and take the next significant step in their leadership journey. We are looking for someone who shares our commitment to ensuring that every child feels safe, valued and empowered to succeed.
Foxbridge is a new, purpose built primary school at the heart of the Castle Donington community. Our motto is Nurture, empower, succeed. We provide an inclusive and experience rich curriculum with high quality pastoral care so that children can achieve academically, socially and personally. As part of Flying High Partnership, the school benefits from strong collaboration, professional learning and leadership support across a thriving family of primary schools.
Working closely with the Headteacher, the Deputy Headteacher will make a significant contribution to the strategic leadership and continued development of Foxbridge Primary School. This is a role with genuine scope to grow: the successful candidate will help shape the school’s next chapter, develop their leadership across a broad range of responsibilities and make a visible impact on children, colleagues and the wider community. They will model excellent classroom practice, support and challenge colleagues and help translate the school’s vision into consistently strong provision for every pupil.
For the right person, the role also offers the opportunity to develop expertise and take whole-school leadership responsibility for special educational needs and disabilities. Applicants do not need to be an existing SENDCo or already hold the SENDCo qualification. Where appropriate, the school and Partnership will provide the support, professional learning and time needed to complete the relevant statutory qualification and grow confidently into this area of leadership.
Our organisation is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff and post holders to share this commitment. We are committed to equality of opportunity for all staff and applicants. Applications from individuals are encouraged regardless of age, disability, sex, gender reassignment, sexual orientation, pregnancy and maternity, race, religion or belief, and marriage and civil partnerships. We are committed to equality of opportunity and welcome applications from all suitably qualified candidates. The successful candidate will be subject to appropriate pre employment checks including an enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references.
