New Milton Infant School is seeking a Deputy Headteacher and SENDCo to join the Senior Leadership Team in January 2027. The successful candidate will lead inclusion and SEND provision across the school, act as the named SENDCo, and deputise for the Headteacher as required.

You will maintain a strong teaching presence, drive improvement, and collaborate with families and external agencies to secure the best outcomes for all pupils within an inclusive, supportive school community.

Qualificações

• Experience leading SEND provision and inclusive practice.
• Leadership experience in a primary school setting.
• Commitment to safeguarding and high expectations for all children.

Responsabilidades

• Be a member of the Senior Leadership Team.
• Lead inclusion and SEND provision across the school.
• Act as the school's named SENDCo.
• Serve as a Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead.
• Lead provision for SEND, disadvantaged and vulnerable pupils.
• Monitor pupil progress and evaluate the impact of provision.
• Work closely with families and external agencies.
• Support whole-school improvement priorities.
• Teach a class and model excellent classroom practice.
• Bring energy, creativity and a positive approach.
• Deputy Headteacher: support strategic leadership, monitor teaching, and drive school improvement.
• SENDCo: develop SEND provision, coordinate interventions, manage assessments, ensure compliance.
