Grass Plant LTD is recruiting a qualified deputy head greenkeeper for an available post at Rickmansworth Golf Club.

We are seeking an ambitious and highly motivated deputy head greenkeeper capable of independently managing the golf course on a daily basis under the supervision of the regional course manager. The ideal candidate will be an excellent team player who is hardworking, reliable, and driven to advance the course and staff.

The successful candidate should be open-minded, proactive, detail-oriented, and a strong leader with excellent man-management skills and a good understanding of golf and turf maintenance.

This is a full-time position, comprising 40 hours Monday to Friday, with paid weekend overtime based on a rota.

Preferred Requirements

• NVQ level 2/3 in greenkeeping and sports turf management
• PA1, PA2 & PA6 Spraying Qualifications
• A full driving licence
• Previous team leader/first assistant experience
• Competence in operating a wide variety of machinery
• Mechanically minded
• Driven, flexible, with good communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work with the regional course manager to set priorities, manage, and motivate the team
