Chestnut is seeking a Deputy General Manager for The Lifeboat, underpinning its growing pubs, inns and bottle shops in East Anglia. You will lead front-of-house and back-of-house teams to deliver exceptional service and seamless operations under the Chestnut banner.

You will drive guest satisfaction, manage cash and stock, and mentor staff to achieve high performance, with enhanced training and accredited development opportunities within a supportive, reward-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated hospitality management experience
• Strong leadership and staff development
• Financial acumen and cost control understanding
• Customer-focused with excellent communication

Responsibilities

• Lead FOH and BOH teams to maintain high service standards
• Collaborate with property management to ensure seamless guest experience
• Guide guests through the restaurant/hotel experience
• Recruit, train and develop team members for high performance
• Cash management and financial oversight
• Wet stock management within the property
• Drive financial performance by meeting/exceeding targets
• Foster a positive, motivated work environment across shifts
