Job summary

Heartwood Collection is seeking a Deputy General Manager to lead hospitality operations across our venues. You will oversee bar, host stand, and reception, while delivering training and supporting other managers and teams to maintain high standards of guest experience.

We offer a competitive £42,000–£44,000 on-target earnings (including TRONC) for a 48-hour week, with bespoke training, Employee Assistance, EarlyPay, enhanced parental leave and other staff benefits.

Qualifications

• Passionate and vibrant personality.
• Clear track record of assisting in running a site and training others in hospitality.
• Ability to lead all aspects of hospitality with proven leadership.
• 2–3 years experience as a Deputy General Manager.

Responsibilities

• Lead hospitality operations across bar, host stand and reception for rooms site.
• Train and support other managers and team members to deliver guest experiences.
• Oversee financial aspects and performance of the site.
• Drive brand standards across Heartwood Collection venues.

About You

• Passionate and vibrant personality, a real people person who cares for the guests, team and experience
• Clear track record of assisting in running a site and/ or fresh food restaurant experience and delivering training and support to other managers and team members
• Able to run all different aspects of hospitality, including bar, host stand (and reception for rooms site), with a proven record of leadership skills
• 2-3 years experience as a Deputy General Manager, with knowledge of branded operations knowledge and
• Taking on the responsibilities of a General Manager with the understanding of financial aspects and requirements of running a site
