Job summary

North Tees and Hartlepool NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Management Accountant to support the Financial Management team. The role focuses on delivering monthly management accounts across a Clinical Service Unit, ensuring accuracy in the General Ledger and related systems.

You will work to improve information quality and drive efficiency across the Trust's financial regime. The post holder will input journals and budgets in the Oracle Financial Management System, provide analysis of variances

Qualifications

Prepare and distribute monthly directorates financial reports.
Input data into Oracle Financial Management System (journals, budgets and feeder data).
Identify and interpret variances from budget and provide monthly commentary.
Assist in preparation of annual budgets.
Develop working relationships within the financial management team.
Support the Deputy Finance Business Partner and deputise as required.

Responsibilities

To assist in the preparation & distribution monthly directorates financial reports
To input into the Oracle Financial Management System (I.e. Journals, budgets and data from feeder systems (Payroll/Stock/Debtors/Creditors))
To assist in providing information and support to allow identification and interpretation of variances from budget.
Assists the Deputy Finance Business Partner in the preparation of annual budgets.
To work as part of the overall financial management department and to develop close working relationships with other financial management assistants.
