Job summary

AsdaExpress in Altrincham is seeking a Deputy Express Site Manager to lead a proud Subway team and oversee daily operations on the shop floor. You will support the Store Manager, drive sales, uphold Subway standards, and ensure a safe, welcoming customer experience in a busy store.

You will manage people, maintain compliance and guide the team through audits, with a focus on fairness and a positive work culture. This role offers a strong pathway within Asda’s store management.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in leading a motivated team across shop floor and Subway.

• Lead the store independently when required.
• Maintain safety and compliance for PFS, forecourt operations and food hygiene.
• Manage Subway operations: stock control, waste, allergen compliance and audits.
• Support colleague development and on-the-job coaching.
• Deliver day-to-day people management professionally and fairly.
• Promote an inclusive culture where everyone feels valued.

• Deliver day-to-day people management professionally and fairly
• Promote a culture where everyone feels included, confident and proud

• Subway experience with strong commercial understanding
