Asda Express is seeking a Deputy Express Site Manager in Altrincham to lead a visible, hands-on team and partner with the Store Manager to deliver a warm, effortless customer experience. You’ll oversee Subway operations, safety, and food hygiene, while driving sales and high standards on the shop floor.

The role requires Subway experience, strong leadership, and a proactive approach to people management, compliance, and service excellence in a busy retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in leading and developing a proud, motivated team across shop floor and Subway.
• Help drive sales, strong standards and brilliant service across both shop and food to go.
• Lead the store independently when required.
• Maintain safety and compliance — including PFS, forecourt operations and food hygiene compliance (Subway standards); manage Subway operations - stock control, food waste management, food prep, allergen compliance, stock checks, audits and mystery shoppers.
• Support colleague development, Subway training and on-the-job coaching.
• Deliver day-to-day people management professionally and fairly.
• Promote a culture where everyone feels included, confident and proud.
