Job summary

HM Land Registry seeks a Deputy Director for Risk, Assurance, Security and Business Continuity to provide senior leadership and act as the principal risk adviser to the Chief Executive, Board and Audit & Risk Committee.

You will drive a robust risk, assurance and security framework, lead dispersed teams, and support transformation in collaboration with government stakeholders to sustain a resilient, well-governed organisation.

Qualifications

• Significant experience as a visible, credible senior leader driving change.
• Proven ability to influence at senior levels and challenge to drive risk management.
• Broad risk management experience in data, finance, digital transformation, AI and automation.
• Experience delivering a three lines model and shaping assurance activity.

Responsibilities

• Lead second-line risk, assurance, security and business continuity functions.
• Advise the Chief Executive, Board and Audit & Risk Committee on risk posture.
• Develop high-performing teams and governance frameworks across the organisation.
