Job summary

HMRC’s Estates Assurance unit seeks a Head of Physical Security & Resilience to lead the physical security agenda across the Estates portfolio in the United Kingdom. You will shape strategy, drive performance and ensure alignment with Government Security Minimum Standards to safeguard staff, information and property.

This senior role requires setting standards, directing security design and assurance activities, and representing the Security Profession for Estates.

Qualifications

• Experience leading security professionals and cross-disciplinary teams.
• Proven ability to translate policy into action and assurance.
• Strong understanding of physical security standards and risk-based decisions.

Responsibilities

• Oversee TaRA and PSDS processes for physical security.
• Set strategic direction for physical security improvements across Estates.
• Lead Departmental Security Health Check physical section and build capability.
