Job summary

Junior Adventures Group – The Orchard Primary School, Watford, WD24 is seeking a caring, enthusiastic Deputy Club Manager for the Breakfast & After School Club. You’ll help lead the team and ensure a safe, fun and engaging environment before and after school.

Role requires leadership potential, safeguarding commitment, and reliable, organised support during term-time hours, with occasional training and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience with children is highly desirable.
• Supervisory or leadership experience would be an advantage.
• Commitment to safeguarding and children's wellbeing.

Responsibilities

• Support the day-to-day running of the club.
• Lead and support the Playworker team.
• Take responsibility for the club in the Manager’s absence.
• Plan and deliver fun, age-appropriate activities.
• Supervise children and promote positive behaviour and wellbeing.
• Maintain a safe, inclusive and welcoming environment.
• Follow safeguarding, health & safety and company procedures.
• Manage sign-in/out processes and relevant documentation.
• Communicate professionally with parents, school staff and colleagues
