Deputy Children's Home Manager

Physis Care is seeking a dedicated and experienced Deputy Children's Home Manager for our therapeutic residential home in Whitchurch, Shropshire. We specialize in providing care, therapy, and education for children and young people aged 11-18 years who are experiencing or are at high risk of exploitation.

Responsibilities
  • Support the Home Manager in the day-to-day management of the home, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and therapeutic environment.
  • Lead and supervise a team of care professionals, promoting best practices in child care and safeguarding.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of individualized care plans for each resident.
  • Facilitate the therapeutic and educational progress of young people, working in collaboration with therapists and educational staff.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, maintaining high-quality care and service delivery.
  • Participate in shift work, ensuring 24/7 coverage and support for the home.
