Job summary

CS UK Recruitment Ltd in Worcester is looking for a committed Deputy Home Manager to provide high quality, person-centred support to a young individual with complex care needs in a residential setting.

You will lead the care team, manage incidents and safeguarding, support care planning and risk assessments, and ensure regulatory and quality standards are met. The role is a permanent full‑time position, 36–48 hours per week, across day and night shifts.

Qualifications

• Must hold NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Health & Social Care and have relevant experience in a similar role and setting.
• Experience working with children and young people with complex behaviours is preferred.
• Proven leadership and safeguarding knowledge with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the Registered Manager in leading and managing the home.
• Provide leadership, guidance, and support to the care team.
• Manage incidents safely and effectively.
• Maintain safeguarding and care practice to a high standard.
• Support care planning, risk assessments, and behaviour management plans.
• Build positive relationships with the child, staff and external professionals.
• Ensure the home meets regulatory and quality standards.

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a committed Deputy Home Manager to provide high quality, person centered support to a young individual with complex care and support needs within a residential care setting in Worcester, West Midlands area. You will be working for one of UK’s leading children’s healthcare providers

Key Duties

The successful Deputy Home Manager will receive an excellent salary of £29,952 - £39,936 per annum. This exciting position is a permanent full time role working 36-48 hours a week on days & nights. In return for your hard work and commitment you will receive the following generous benefits:
