About the Opportunity
Leader Recruitment Group is thrilled to partner with a dedicated provider to recruit a compassionate and driven Deputy Manager for a children's residential home in Kettering. This is your chance to help create a warm, supportive environment for young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD), working alongside a committed team to make a real difference in their lives.
Key Responsibilities
Support the Home Manager in running a nurturing, Ofsted-compliant children's home.
Lead and mentor a team of support workers, fostering their growth and maintaining high care standards.
Act as a role model for both staff and young people, promoting a positive and therapeutic environment.
Assist with rotas, budgets, audits, and care planning to ensure smooth operations.
Build trusting relationships with young people to help them feel safe, valued, and empowered.
Ensure safeguarding procedures and Ofsted regulations are consistently met.
About You
At least 3 years' experience in a children's residential home setting.
NVQ Level 3 in Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
Strong understanding of Ofsted legislation, safeguarding, and EBD care.
Experience managing budgets and rotas.
Full UK Driving Licence.
A caring, resilient, and inspiring leader with excellent communication skills.
Previous experience in a deputy or supervisory role.
Passion for mentoring staff and driving quality care.
