Job Role: Cook

As a Cook, you will be responsible, under the guidance of the Scheme Manager, for planning, preparing, and cooking interesting menus, making the best use of fresh foods to provide a balanced and nutritious diet for residents.

You will also order food supplies, conduct monthly stock checks, and maintain a high standard of cleanliness to ensure compliance with statutory health and hygiene standards.

You must adhere to regulations regarding Health and Safety Policy and COSHH regulations, be aware of safety hazards, and follow risk assessments, safe systems of work, manual handling, and lifting procedures.
