Job summary

Stow Healthcare Group is seeking a Deputy Chef to join our kitchen team, supporting the Head Chef to deliver fresh, nutritious meals for elderly residents.

You will work with dietary requirements, maintain SFBB standards, and contribute to residents’ wellbeing through high-quality food and caring service.

This role offers contracted hours and the opportunity to be part of award-winning care, within a supportive team at Stow.

Qualifications

• Experienced Chef with at least some professional kitchen exposure.
• Able to adapt to dietary requirements and restrictions.
• Passionate about high-quality food and making a difference for residents.
• Flexible, patient, caring attitude with strong people skills.
• Proficient in written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Prepare fresh, delicious meals for elderly residents.
• Support residents to live fulfilling lives through meals and service.
• Maintain the kitchen to SFBB standards.
• Assist Head Chef with daily kitchen tasks and menu execution.
