Stagecoach Bedford is seeking a hands-on Deputy Engineering Manager to lead a skilled team of engineers, technicians, cleaners and apprentices in a modern depot. You’ll own fleet maintenance, engineering operations and facilities, including EVs and depot infrastructure, ensuring safety, compliance and capability are built into day-to-day work.

Competenze

• Engineering experience in bus/coach/HGV/rail or automotive sectors.

• Oversee maintenance and presentation of 60 buses and depot plant/building upkeep.

This is an opportunity to lead a skilled team within a modern depot environment, taking ownership of fleet maintenance, engineering operations, and facilities. You’ll play a key role in supporting fleet evolution, including electric vehicles and depot infrastructure, ensuring safety, compliance, and capability are built into day‑to‑day operations.
