Job summary

Stagecoach Bedford is seeking an Engineer to maintain and repair our modern fleet. You’ll work across depot and on the road, tackling varied maintenance tasks and fault finding to keep services running smoothly.

The role offers a structured training programme to develop skills and gain new qualifications, with benefits including the company pensions scheme, health support, and free bus travel. You’ll be supported by experienced managers who started as mechanics.

Qualifications

• Be passionate about what you do and deliver high standards of engineering maintenance and repairs.
• Hold a UK Drivers Licence.
• NVQ Level 3 Engineering preferred; training can be provided if right for the role.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair our fleet of modern vehicles, both on the road and at the depot.
• Tackle diverse engineering tasks and fault finding to keep services running smoothly.
• Develop your skills through a dedicated high-level training programme and gain new qualifications.
