Job summary

Marble Talent Group Ltd has an urgent opening for a depot-based vehicle technician in Wickford, serving a market-leading UK supplier of heavy plant and fleet services. You will service and repair vehicles, fit sensors, cameras, tow bars and reverse cameras, and perform safety checks to ensure reliability and safety.

The role requires a full driving licence with 6 points or fewer and a relevant industry qualification, plus COSHH awareness and a commitment to safe, efficient workshop practices.

Qualifications

• Experience in service and repair, and installation of ancillary equipment.
• Full valid driving licence with 6 points or less and a relevant industry qualification.

Responsibilities

• Changing oil and air filters, and rectifying faults on brakes, clutches and gear boxes.
• Fitting and servicing ancillary equipment such as parking sensors, cameras, tow bars and reverse cameras.
• Managing COSHH substances, risk assessments, COSHH assessments and Safety Data Sheets and First Aid items.
• Discussing required repairs with admin team and customers.
• Inspecting vehicles and diagnosing required work.
• Repairing or replacing components as required.
• Performing service and vehicle system safety checks.
• Cleaning and maintaining the work environment for safety and longevity.
